• The manual has an easy to read table of content, pictures of the application and its features. Its allows the user to move through NetClass in a step by step fashion so that the user can easily learn how to leave their students a note, create a new class, add/remove users from their class, make assignments to students and review those assignments when students have submitted them on completion. The manual will also assist teachers in instructing their students in the proper use of NetClass. It gives step by step instructions on the submission of completed assignments. |

• The operation of LANSchool is also covered giving images and descriptions of the use of this LAN management application which not only allows the teacher to broadcast instruction from the teacher's station to all student workstations but when broadcasting is turned off the teacher can observe individual students without disturbing them making sure that they are on task. |

| • Also with in this manual are instruction is the use of Pegasus E-mail application which is a part of the NetClass application. Pegasus is an Intranet e-mail application which is used within a LAN environment. It gives teachers direct contact with each other without leaving the classroom. |

| My Master's Degree field study entailed the training and empowerment of all teachers at Peres Elementary School in Richmond, California in the use of their new LAN (Local Area Network) environment and the NetClass_LANSchool management application which is being used in conjuction with Novell Client 32 NetWare. | |
